Born and educated in Rome, nurtured in Dublin and challenged in Brisbane, I consider myself an international citizen. I hold a Master in architecture and vast experience in drawing and in painting. I have had my design works published in universities and popular design magazines as well as in students’ books. 2020 gave me a chance to reflect on my creativity and how to make the best out of it cherishing my artistic skills any time I had the opportunity. I took part to several art competitions and was twice finalist in two distinctive small scale art awards. My inspirations never stop: they start at night with dreams and continue during the day. They are enriched by people, objects, experiences, nature, sounds sometimes hearable and other times hidden in my inner side. My artistic works reflect a classic formation that blends with my contemporary designer approach resulting in original pieces with symbolistic meanings or surrealistic images at times. Why Art & Babs? Art represents everything that has been before, Babs represents everything she is and has to offer, together they are everything new that is going to be.
